Aloha and Welcome to Aumoehoku Australian Shepherds. We are a small hobby kennel located in beautiful Hawaii.
My first pet aussie came into our family in 1991, from the start we fell in love with this intelligent breed. In 1996 I went to my first AKC Dog Show where I noticed a very impressive aussie named "Razz" CH. Briarbrooks Full Speed Ahead. Immediately I called his breeder Linda Wilson of Briarbrook Kennels but sadly she had no puppies at that time. I then found breeders who had plans to use "Razz" at stud. Our first show aussie CH. Backdrafts Aumoehoku Kawehi came to us in 1996 from Cheryl Hitchcock of Backdrafts Kennels who had a litter of Razz puppies. We finished Kawehi's AKC Championship very quickly and from 1996 we got hooked on dog shows. A few years later I was blessed to be able to import my own Briarbrooks Aussies. Aussies are our pets before they are our show dogs. Our aussies are loved and raised in our homes as part of our family. We don't sell our puppies on a first come first serve basis or take deposits. Purchasing an aussie from us is a life long commitment and we want you to be sure you're ready for a life long companion.
